Equitas Consulting & Management

Dr. Jessica Renee Pepple

Our
Misson

Dr. Jessica Pepple is the inaugural Chief Diversity & Culture Officer at RFK Community Alliance. Jessica helps to ensure that diversity, belonging, inclusion, and equity are centered at the core of every organization. She works to hold individuals accountable for co-creating a culture of inclusion and belonging. To prepare engaged stakeholders for their transformation journey, Jessica provides a safe place and brave space for counseling to emerge through the transformation of building an equitable culture. To support the theory of building an equitable culture, Jessica provides research from Janet Helms, Beverley Daniel Tatum, Travis Bristol, and William Bridges, among other notable change practitioners. Dr. Pepple’s goal is to be deliberate, and strategic and provide meaningful ways to explore, clarify, and outline DBIE goals and strategies for organizations and school districts.

In order to effectively achieve these goals, it is imperative that the leadership team is able to discuss and interrogate issues of antiracism, race, diversity, belonging, inclusion, and equity, and that members of the organization are bought in and able to share their own thoughts, perspectives, and ideas for change. Given the difference in lived experiences, knowledge of the issues, and experience navigating these potentially divisive conversations, it is important to create meaningful opportunities for engagement and learning for everyone.
